We currently operate two foundries in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, our home since the very beginning. Backed by over 120 years of experience, each piece of Lodge cookware is crafted for durability and versatility. We don't just make cookware — we make memories that last for generations. We are committed to the company and to each other. Our story begins in 1877 when Joseph Lodge moved to South Pittsburg, Tennessee. As a fifth-generation, family-owned company, our founder's legacy of quality cookware and innovation continues to this day. We take pride in who we are, what we do, and how we do it. Making cast iron cookware is just plain cool! We pour a mix of molten iron and steel into sand molds to create solid, durable pieces of cookware that will last for generations. We find ways to improve who we are, what we do, and how we do it. We are dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment. Over the years, we have developed company-wide recycling programs, uncovered ways to reuse foundry sand, switched to biodegradable packing materials, and invested in foundry equipment that reduces pollution and minimizes energy consumption. We are in this together. We are deeply invested in the South Pittsburg community and surrounding area.
